Oliver Stark‘s not taking homophobic feedback from “9-1-1” followers … straight up saying they’ve completely missed the present’s level.
The actor — who’s performed Evan ‘Buck’ Buckley for the reason that present premiered again in 2018 — took to Instagram Saturday to thank many followers for supporting his character’s latest storyline … earlier than addressing the trolls head-on.
Stark says he would not care if Buck’s sexuality ruined the present for some followers … including the present’s all the time featured inclusive tales and characters, so it should not be a dealbreaker for followers.
And, OS says he is unsure what present people who find themselves bailing on “9-1-1” now although they have been watching … ‘trigger he says they clearly missed the purpose of this one.
In case you are not updated on “9-1-1” … Buck kissed one other male character on the finish of an episode that aired Thursday — and, Oliver mentioned the present appeared headed for the kiss for a very long time whether or not consciously or not.
BTW … it looks like lots of people are being super supportive of the kiss on-line — with many on X saying they love the choice showrunners made.
The present’s actually early in its seventh season too … so, “9-1-1” haters who do not love the bisexual angle most likely will not see the connection run its course anytime quickly.
And, it appears Oliver Stark would not give a rattling if these viewers keep away endlessly.
