A few holidays to notice in Europe to wrap up the week

Today marks Assumption Day and it is a public holiday in many countries in Europe. It is a bank holiday of note in the likes of France, Spain, Italy (where it is also Ferragosto), and some parts of Germany. So, expect the market mood to be quieter as traders and investors are all in a summer holiday mood.

With regards to market closures, it is only the Milan exchange that will be closed. Other exchanges will be open but as mentioned, don’t expect too much hustle and bustle on a day like this.
