Three players per team on the court. The league’s third season. And now, three stripes on the uniforms.
Unrivaled, the 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, and German sportswear giant adidas have entered into a multi-year partnership in which adidas becomes the league’s official uniform and performance apparel partner starting with the 2027 season, the two sides announced on Wednesday, September 23.
“We continue our journey to the be the next generation brand of basketball. Unrivaled shares our belief for what’s possible in women’s basketball and investing in athletes is the best way to grow the game. We’re excited to partner with the league to advance that vision through innovation, athlete empowerment, and new opportunities that grow the game at every level.”
— Max Staiger, Global General Manager, adidas Basketball
Under the deal, adidas will supply on-court uniforms and performance apparel for athletes on all eight Unrivaled clubs, and they will also provide apparel for the league’s youth camps, clinics and community basketball programs.

“Our partnership with adidas represents an important next step in Unrivaled’s growth and evolution. adidas shares our vision and commitment to investing in the future of women’s basketball, and together we’ll elevate the athlete experience, create new opportunities for our players, and service our fans even better.”
— Alex Bazzell, Co-Founder and CEO, Unrivaled
Unrivaled uniforms were previously made by Under Armour.

Unrivaled was founded in July 2024 by Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier and New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart to give elite women’s basketball players a chance to keep playing in North America during the WNBA offseason, rather than going overseas. The league is aiming for the highest average salaries in women’s sports history, and all 30 players in the inaugural season received equity ownership.
The first two seasons of Unrivaled were mostly played at a sound stage in Miami, but this year, they’re taking the show on the road. The league has already announced six of the eight cities in which it will tour during the 2027 season, with two games played in one night in each city:
- Boston: Friday, January 8
- Detroit: Monday, January 11
- New York: Friday, January 22
- Minneapolis: Sunday, January 24
- Houston: Friday, February 12
- Philadelphia: Monday, February 15
The exact teams playing in those tour stops and the rest of the 2027 regular season schedule have not yet been finalized.
In January 2026, Unrivaled played one night at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, with 21,490 fans in attendance — a record for a professional women’s basketball regular season game. They also played their playoff semifinal games at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
