#5. AEW brutally trolls Ricochet’s forehead

All Elite Wrestling’s official X handle recently poked fun at one of its top stars, Ricochet. The former WWE United States Champion, who joined the Tony Khan-led promotion in 2024, currently leads the heel faction The Demand alongside Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona. Ricochet has made his mark in the Jacksonville-based promotion with his cocky heel persona and is a one-time inaugural National champion. Outside of his in-ring prowess, the Future of Flight is also known for his bald head and frequently receives jokes about it from fans and peers.

Joining in on the fun, AEW shared a photograph of Ricochet dressed in golf attire, accompanied by the humorous caption below:

“(Big) FORE! (head)”.

Check out the X post here.

At Collision: Fairway to Hell last Saturday, Ricochet rekindled his feud with Jack Perry, the man who took the National Championship from him at Revolution 2026. The One and Only interfered in Perry’s title defense against Mark Davis, helping Davis dethrone the former Scapegoat. It will be interesting to see how the rivalry between Ricochet and Perry will unfold.

#4. Backstage reaction to The New Day joining AEW is reportedly positive

Following the recent departures of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods from WWE, a new report indicates strong internal support for bringing the duo to All Elite Wrestling. The legendary tag team opted to leave the Stamford-based promotion after declining a contract restructuring that included a slight pay cut requested by TKO. According to Fightful Select, over a dozen individuals within AEW are actively pushing for The New Day to join the company, with no internal objections and several big names backing the move. Currently, the only hurdle preventing All Elite Wrestling from pursuing them is the duo’s 90-day non-compete clause.

As they navigate their newfound free agency, Kingston and Woods have officially revealed their new post-WWE in-ring names: Kofi and Austin Creed. Under these monikers, the tag team is already scheduled to appear at GalaxyCon, with dates set for May 24 in Oklahoma City and May 30 in Nashville.

#3. The Young Bucks tease dream matches for AEW All In: London 2026

The Young Bucks, a.k.a. Nick and Matt Jackson, who are three-time AEW tag team and two-time trios champions, have teased the possibility of monumental dream matches for the upcoming All In: London pay-per-view in August 2026. During a recent episode of the BTE Mailbag, Nick Jackson hinted at some cool future matches, saying there are many dream matches that might happen. Matt Jackson echoed this sentiment, adding that there is good stuff cooking up. These comments come just days after The New Day officially departed from WWE.

“There’s a lot of dream matches that might be able to happen. I guess we have a lot of cool future matches to look forward to,” said Nick Jackson

“A lot of good stuff that is cooking up,” said Matt [H/T: Fightful]

Moreover, the Jackson brothers had earlier fueled speculation about the New Day’s potential arrival in AEW with a deliberate social media move. On their Being the Elite X account, The Young Bucks retweeted a 2019 AEW introduction post that featured a reply from Xavier Woods, who had wished them the best in their new venture.

#2. Renee Paquette says she is open to joining the Conglomerate

AEW interviewer and panelist Renee Paquette has expressed her willingness to join one of the company’s most beloved babyface factions, The Conglomeration. Paquette, who joined the Jacksonville-based promotion in 2022, is viewed by Tony Khan as a highly reliable worker for her ability to wear many hats, whether as a panelist, backstage producer, interviewer, or commentator. She recently sat down for an interview with faction members Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Orange Cassidy on an episode of AEW Close Up, showcasing excellent chemistry with the trio.

Following the entertaining segment, an X user named @istomatoafruit launched a playful petition to make Paquette the newest member of the group. The 40-year-old broadcaster quickly responded with enthusiasm, stating that she’s never been more in.

“Petition to have Renee Paquette as the newest member of The Conglomeration,” wrote the user.

“Never been more in!,” said Paquette

#1. Mark Davis reflects on his time in AEW; expresses gratitude

Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family is on an incredible run in 2026, currently holding both the AEW World Trios Championship and the National Championship, which he won from Jack Perry at Collision: Fairway to Hell. During a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed, Davis broke character to reflect on his turbulent journey through the wrestling industry, which took him from Australia to the UK, Japan, and finally the USA. Davis said his time in AEW has “changed my life,” and he expressed gratitude for the space and support that have finally allowed him to excel.

“I’m whole again. I have the space, time, and support for all of that to happen in AEW, and I’m blessed to work here. It’s changed my life. My journey wasn’t very linear. It was hop, skip, jump from Australia to UK to Japan to America. There were a lot of points where it was all or nothing. I needed to excel to keep going. I had to wrestle to get my next match, so I couldn’t take time off..I’ll never complain about it. It’s all become part of who I am. It brought me here. And I love that feeling, going balls to the wall, then coming back to the locker room feeling like c**p,” said Davis [H/T Drainmaker on X]

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Mark Davis in All Elite Wrestling.
