Will Ospreay recently issued a major statement about a former AEW World Champion. He is set to main event All In against Kenny Omega in just a few days, with the AEW World Championship on the line. The Aerial Assassin won the 2026 Owen Hart Cup in order to punch his ticket to Wembley Stadium. While the two were great friends beforehand, they haven’t been the same since the title match was made official.
Tension between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay has been rising for the past few weeks. Last week on Dynamite, the Best Bout Machine went personal and claimed that Ospreay’s son will have to find a new hero after the Cleaner defeats the former International Champion. This didn’t sit well with him. Later on the show, Omega snapped and put his All In opponent through a table.
Tonight on Dynamite, Will Ospreay said that he had a lot of respect for Kenny Omega. Unfortunately, he doesn’t anymore because the Cleaner went after Ospreay’s son.
“There has been no one better as a wrestler in this decade than Kenny Omega, and I am fine with saying that. But all that respect went out the window the moment you mentioned my son. Need a new hero after I lose to you. That ain’t gonna happen. Because I got some promises to make to you and every single person watching. Promise being this Sunday, you’re getting the Billy Goat for sure. Sunday, I’m gonna give you the match of your life, bruv. Sunday, that stadium is gonna be left with memories of a lifetime. And my promise that I’ll make to you right now is you don’t wanna f*ck a man that is looking after a boy,” Will Ospreay said.
It will be interesting to see who will walk out as the AEW World Champion at All In.
