A wrestling veteran claimed that a former champion will return to the WWE following Brie Bella’s blockbuster return recently. The legend will finish his career in the Stamford-based promotion, according to the veteran.
Brie Bella’s WWE return could be followed by her husband and the ex-World Champion, Bryan Danielson, says wrestling veteran, Bully Ray (fka Bubba Ray Dudley). Danielson is currently with AEW, where he is in a commentary role after his retirement from full-time wrestling.
Danielson’s real-life wife, Brie Bella made her staggering WWE return during the 2026 women’s Royal Rumble match with a massive pop. Bully Ray believes that while Brie is now back in the Stamford-based promotion, her husband could join her there as well.
While discussing Brie’s return at Royal Rumble 2026 on the Busted Open Radio recently, Bully Ray claimed that Bryan Danielson will also come back to finish up his career alongside his wife in the WWE:
“How long do you think it is before Danielson comes back to WWE? He’s definitely coming back to finish out his career with his wife in the WWE,” said Bully Ray. [H/T WrestlingINC]
Brie Bella on getting denied for her WWE return
While Brie Bella’s return during the 2026 women’s Royal Rumble match was an amazing moment, she was denied a WWE return earlier. Speaking on Notsam Wrestling, Brie revealed she kept hearing no regarding a return and gave up on the thought before the eventual Rumble return:
“I’ve been wanting to come back. I would joke about it a lot, but yeah, I kept hearing no, and so when it came to Thanksgiving time, I was like, ‘Alright, I’m not going back,’ and so, I kind of just started to look at 2026 differently,” Bella disclosed.
The former Divas Champion also revealed how Nick Khan called her to come back for the Royal Rumble 2026. It remains to be seen what’s next for Brie after reuniting with her sister, Nikki Bella.
