The American Hockey League and the host Rockford IceHogs are going full retro with their jerseys for the upcoming 2026 All-Star Classic.
As part of the AHL’s 90th anniversary celebrations, the IceHogs will host the All-Star Classic festivities on Tuesday, February 10, and Wednesday, February 11, at the BMO Center in Rockford. And to fit the occasion, the jerseys unveiled on Tuesday, January 27, will have an appropriately retro feel to them.
The basic design of all four division jerseys will be the same, with “AHL” above and “ALL-STARS” below a five-pointed star on the front of the sweaters. The base jerseys colours are taken from the IceHogs’ colour palette:
- Atlantic: Black
- Central: Red
- North: Gray
- Pacific: White
The jerseys also all have three contrasting stripes around the waist, with the middle stripe being slightly narrower than the others. These stripes also appear on the socks, which match the base colour of each jersey. The sleeves have two narrow stripes at the elbow, with stars in between. The collars have laces across the front.

All the jerseys have the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic logo on the right shoulder and a BMO sponsor patch on the right chest. The left shoulders have a gear-shaped patch with the initial of their respective division and two stars inside.

The numbers on the sleeves and back of the black, red and white jerseys are one-colour with no outlines and set in a block font with internal notches similar to that used in the event logo. The black numbers on the gray North Division jersey are the only ones with visible white outlines.

The 2026 AHL All-Star Classic is comprised of the All-Star Skills Competition on Tuesday, February 10, and the All-Star Challenge on Wednesday, February 11. In the All-Star Challenge, the four division teams will square off in a round-robin tournament of eight-minute 3-on-3 games. The two divisions with the best record at the end of the round-robin will face each other for the championship.
Limited quantities of authentic and replica All-Star jerseys will be available for fans to purchase at the BMO Center starting at the Skills Competition.
