The jerseys are changing, but the love between the Cleveland Monsters and their cross-state NHL parent club remains the same.
The American Hockey League affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets unveiled revamped alternate sweaters in the style of the Blue Jackets on Thursday, October 30. They’ll wear them 11 times during the 2025-26 AHL season, including three games on the road in February and March along with eight Blue Jackets Night at home at the Rocket Arena.
The predominantly white jerseys mimic the style of the Blue Jackets’ away jerseys, with a broad navy blue stripe with white and red outlines running down the shoulders and the length of the sleeves. The front of the jersey features the Monsters’ primary logo recolored with the Blue Jackets’ palette of Union Blue, Capital Silver and Goal Red. The font in the logo’s roundel is also changed to one closer to what the Jackets use.

The collar is navy blue with red trim, and narrow navy blue and red stripes run around the hem. Each sleeve cuff is red, with a white star sitting just above.
The left shoulder has a secondary logo with the outline of Ohio with two stars, one indicating the location of Columbus and one indicating the location of Cleveland. The Blue Jackets’ primary logo sits on the right shoulder. Names and numbers on the sleeves and back are in the same font and colours that Columbus uses.
The Monsters have been the Blue Jackets’ AHL affiliate since 2015. The previous version of their Jackets-inspired uniforms featured red pants — Columbus switched to blue pants with their road jerseys in 2022 — and a crest with a red state of Ohio inside a blue roundel.

The Monsters will wear the new jerseys on home ice for the first time on Saturday, November 8, versus the Providence Bruins. This is the first Blue Jackets Night of the season, with free posters for the first 2,015 fans and opportunities to win signed merchandise. Some Blue Jackets Nights will also feature an appearance by the Jackets’ mascot, Stinger, and a Blue Jackets prize wheel on the concourse.
