With the Honkai Star Rail 4.0 update releasing soon, the developers have started posting trailers about the upcoming destinations. Trailblazers are quite excited after watching these videos, as they feature the new characters from Planarcadia. While the developers have already revealed a couple, some are still not officially announced. Hence, players might be curious about them.
This article takes a look at every Planarcadia character in Honkai Star Rail.

Every Planarcadia character from Honkai Star Rail, explored
Recently, the developers have officially revealed five characters (besides Yao Guang and Sparxie) from the Astral Express’ upcoming destination, Planarcadia, in Honkai Star Rail. However, in the Myriad Celestia Trailer titled “Anti-Destruction Alliance,” the developers showcased many more characters than the previously announced ones.
In the Myriad Celestia Trailer, Trailblazers can see 15 characters from Planarcadia. Among all, three are currently unknown as they do not fit the description of any confirmed or leaked unit. That said, here are all the characters from the upcoming destination:
- Ashveil
- Evanescia
- Nihilux
- Yao Guang
- Sparxie
- Blade SP
- Silver Wolf SP
- Sampo SP
- Pearl
- Opal
- Stephen Lloyd
- Asat Pramad
As mentioned previously, three more characters can be seen in the Myriad Celestia Trailer, but their identities are currently unknown. There is a chance that HoYoverse might reveal them during the upcoming HSR 4.0 special program livestream scheduled to air on February 6, 2026.
For now, very little information regarding these 12 characters is available online. Yao Guang and Sparxie are scheduled to be playable in version 4.0, and both follow the Elation Path.
Besides the abovementioned characters, various leaks also suggest that more existing 5-stars will be reintroduced in the game as a SP unit, such as Himeko and Aventurine. Although the developers haven’t revealed any information yet, they are expected to do so soon (if these leaks come to be true).
