A new set of collectibles can now be found in different corners of the Throne World in Destiny 2. The case files, which are part of a triumph in the new update, appear not just in Savathun’s domain but in other Destinations as well. However, players looking to get the collectibles from the Throne World only will be pleased to know there are only six in the location, all of which are pretty easy to collect.
This article breaks down the locations of the case files in Savathun’s Throne World.
All 6 Throne World case file locations in Destiny 2
Before going in for the collectibles, note that these case files can be found when the Distortions modifier is active on the Destination. You can identify whether the Destination in question has the modifier or not by looking at the Public Event icons on the map, with a red icon saying “Distortions are corrupting the area.”
Case file #1:
Head to the Miasma in the Throne World, specifically to the area shown in the image below.
Next, locate a small ruin with a few ledges attached on the inside. If you have Distortions active on the Destination, you will see a waypoint that will direct you to the collectible. This applies to all the case files in the Throne World.
Climb via the ledges on the top and collect the first case log.
Case file #2:
In Miasma, head to the entrance of the Birthplace of the Vile Strike, specifically in the area north of the Miasma, shown in the image below.
Just before entering through the cave, you will find the case log.
Case file #3:
From Miasma, head to the Florescent Canal within the Throne World.
Here, upon entering the area, take the first right, and you will find the case file resting against a wall.
Case file #4:
From the third case file location, go deeper into the Florescent Canal, followed by the bridge on the first right.
Proceed onto the second bridge, and you will notice a waypoint pop up, leading you directly below the bridge.
Case file #5:
From the Quagmire waypoint, head straight by sticking to the rightmost wall, and head for the white structures that connect the Quagmire with the Florescent Canal.
At the back of these structures, drop down by following the waypoint to collect the case file.
Case file #6:
From the fifth case file location, head towards the Extraction Lost Sector on the map, within the Quagmire.
Instead of going down towards the Lost Sector, enter the cave instead to pick up the case file inside.
