AEW star Andrade called out anyone for a huge challenge, and someone answered on Collision.

The aforementioned star was Tommaso Ciampa. On tonight’s episode of Collision: Grand Slam France, Andrade was scheduled to defend his National Championship against Michael Oku. The two stars delivered a stellar match, and the former WWE United States Champion ended it by planting Oku with his finisher, pinning his shoulders to the mat to retain his title.

Afterward, the AEW star called out anyone on the roster to answer an open challenge for the National title. Tommaso Ciampa answered, marching down to the ring to face him. The Psycho Killer stared down the former WWE star and made his intentions clear: he wanted the National Championship.

As Andrade tried to walk away from the scene, Ciampa attacked him from behind right when he was getting out of the ring through the ropes. The former DIY member put the exclamation point on it by delivering a DDT to the reigning National Champion, with his head landing straight on his title belt and Ciampa grabbing it, potentially giving a preview of what’s to come. Andrade on finding out about AEW star PAC’s death

AEW star PAC unfortunately passed away a day after wrestling Andrade at All Out 2026. The Mexican wrestler revealed that Penta called him to share the unfortunate news during his social media break. He said:

“I still can’t believe it! I was arriving home in Miami, having decided to take a break from social media for a day or two, when I got a call from Penta asking if I knew anything or if something had happened during the match. I told him, “I don’t believe what you’re telling me,” and he said, “I don’t believe it either.” We thought it was just a rumor, “Let’s hope it’s just a lie!” until I started getting messages and calls from wrestlers across various promotions, I spoke to the AEW office, and they confirmed the news was true. It was something I never imagined!” he wrote.

As the former WWE star continues to move forward, it remains to be seen if he can overcome the upcoming challenge from Tommaso Ciampa for the National Championship.
