One of the latest challenges in Season 5 Trials requires players to open containers in Port Authority in ARC Raiders. This is one of the latest tasks Raiders can complete as part of Trial activities from August 4 to 10, 2026. Since this activity requires a specific Point of Interest, Raiders must plan their topside trip according to the map conditions to get the best possible chance at securing a high Trials score.

Best ways to open containers in Port Authority during ARC Raiders Season 5 Trials

In this Trials challenge, you must head to the Port Authority building in the Riven Tides map. Choose the normal map condition to avoid PvP encounters or strong ARC encounters as well. Once you load into the map, this specific Point of Interest is found towards the northern side of the map on the beach.

Our primary loadout consists of a strong primary weapon to quickly eliminate the ARC threats persistently found in this POI and to ensure that any PvP encounters can also be swiftly dealt with.

  • Anvil / Bettina / Renegade
  • Four stacks of ammo each
  • Medium Shield
  • Shield Rechargers
  • Bandages / Vita Spray
  • Snap Hook (optional)

Recommended strategy to open containers in Port Authority:

  • Head to the Riven Tides and try to avoid Beachcombing map condition. This to ensures that there are fewer chances for PvP.
  • Follow the wavebreakers and reach the Port Authority building. Use the ladder marked in the image above with the yellow arrow to climb up.
  • This area has several containers that can be opened and breached. Start from the first floor.
  • On the second floor, an ARC Turret and a Shredder are found patrolling the area. Use your primary weapons to take them down one by one before trying to interact with any containers on this floor.
  • Aerial ARC like Vaporizers and Rocketeers may be found patrolling this area, so make sure you stay hidden.
  • The Seaside Elevator is just south of this POI, making it easy to extract after farming Trials points.

Do note that every container you open in this specific POI offers 200 Trials points. This means that for a three-star run, you must open or interact with 20 containers. Additionally, this Trials run also counts interactions with opened containers, so make sure you interact with all the available elements.
