Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a move for Leny Yoro, with the defender currently considering his future at Manchester United.
Yoro has struggled for game time at Manchester United this season. He has played 22 minutes in the Premier League so far, split across two substitute appearances.
Thanks for the submission!
The 20-year-old was an unused substitute in the last two league matches leading up to the ongoing international break.
Amid his reduced role, Yoro’s future at Old Trafford is now surrounded by uncertainty, with Caught Offside reporting that the Frenchman is concerned about his position in Michael Carrick’s squad.
Consequently, a host of European clubs, including the Gunners have started monitoring Yoro’s situation.
The report adds that Manchester United are looking at signing Como’s Jacobo Ramon due to concerns over Yoro, a move that did not sit well with the latter’s camp.
A source told Caught Offside:
“Leny Yoro is concerned about his role, there’ll be talks soon to clarify the situation, but clubs have taken this as a clear message that he’s ready to consider offers.
“PSG have the strongest interest, and that dates back to Yoro’s time in France. But from within the Premier League, Arsenal could also be a serious option to watch.”
Yoro has had to compete with Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire, both of whom Carrick has shown preference for as his starting central defensive pairing.
The Saint-Maurice-born defender joined United from Lille in 2024. His current contract with the Red Devils will expire in the summer of 2029.
Arsenal and Manchester United among clubs interested in Bundesliga star – Reports
In a different report from Caught Offside, Arsenal and Manchester United are among a growing list of clubs interested in SC Freiburg striker Igor Matanovic.
Matanovic has scored six times in his first seven games across all competitions this season, explaining why some of Europe’s elite clubs are looking to acquire his services.
The report claimed that the 23-year-old is being discussed internally at United, while Arsenal have frequently sent scouts to watch him in action this season.
Despite only joining Freiburg in 2025, Matanovic could be representing any of the two Premier League giants soon, with the report adding that he would be open to moving to England if the offer comes in.
