The sheer avalanche of new national team kits continued this week as German manufacturer PUMA released and made available for sale home and/or away jerseys for 12 soccer federations it outfits, including 10 that have qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup co-hosted by Canada, the United States and Mexico.
Each design has been built to capture the culture, character, and spirit of the nation it represents, engineered for the highest level of the game, yet rooted in the same emotion that drives football everywhere it is played. … This confirms PUMA’s position as one of the leading kit brands in international football, dressing close to a quarter of all nations heading into this summer’s biggest competition, with the strongest African portfolio of any brand in the sport: a portfolio that is also its most ambitious in design.

Of the 12 countries represented in the kit launch, only Iceland failed to qualify for this summer’s World Cup. The Czech Republic will participate in a European playoff later this month, along with Denmark, Ireland and North Macedonia, for a spot in Group A with Mexico, South Africa and South Korea.
