What the EU/Ukraine get in return will need to be hashed out IF this concession is made. I am not convinced that after 2 years of fighting, deaths and all that goes with the war, that Ukraine/EU will be thrilled about giving land and still having the threat of Russian aggression that looms. War stinks and even with peace, bad blood lingers.
