Baylor Bears Unveil New Anthracite Alternate Football Uniforms – SportsLogos.Net News

Just two days after it unveiled new green home, white road and gold alternate uniforms, the Baylor football program revealed a new anthracite alternate design on Thursday morning.

Unlike the rest of the set, which features a Green Bay Packers-esque striping pattern on the sleeves and pants, the anthracite uniform displays oversized paw prints on the sleeves.

This, of course, is a nod to the Bears’ 2013-18 set, though the sublimated paw is contained entirely within the sleeve cap rather than the claws reaching over the players’ shoulders.

The jerseys are complete with a black collar and a gold “Baylor” wordmark above the Bears’ current number font, while the anthracite pants have a truncated black stripe on both sides that mimic claw marks.

Lastly, the anthracite helmet features a gold interlocking “BU” on the sides, an anthracite facemask and Baylor’s secondary logo – which appears on the collar of the other uniforms – on the front bumper.
