Bel-Air season 4 episodes 4 and 5 are set to premiere at 3:00 am ET on December 1, 2025, on Peacock. The drama series focuses on Will Smith, played by Jabari Banks, after he moves to Bel-Air to live with his rich relatives and attempts to navigate a complicated life. Banks is joined by Adrian Holmes, starring as Uncle Phil, Cassandra Freeman as Aunt Viv, and Olly Sholotan as Carlton, among others.
Bel-Air season 4 premiered on November 24, 2025, setting the stage for the series’ final season, which follows Will and his family as they deal with the aftermath of his kidnapping. Also, his father, Lou, reveals that he is leaving after securing a big job opportunity. This leads to tension rising between Phil and Lou as both men attempt to navigate their roles in Will’s life.
Will is struggling with mixed emotions as he is happy for his father but also sad that he has to leave again. However, Bel-Air season 4 episode 3 ends on a positive note for both the Banks family and Will as they deal with most of their issues.
Aunt Viv and Uncle Phil come to terms with the issues in their marriage, and the latter promises to address them soon, including a money laundering situation. It does set things up for an interesting end to season 4, especially as Will and Carlton attempt to navigate their senior year at high school as well.

A brief recap of Bel-Air season 4 episode 3
Bel-Air season 4 episode 3 picks up after the dramatic events of episodes 1 and 2, with the Banks family preparing for Thanksgiving. After being invited by Will Smith, his father, Lou, and Uncle Phil get into a small argument while having a beer in the garden.
However, they manage to deal with things and return to the dinner party. This happens only after Lou tells Phil he’s going to Philadelphia after getting a job offer, leaving Will yet again.
Will and Lou then bond as he shows his father his room and calls him ‘dad’ for the first time, but later, during a simple trivia game, everything explodes again. Lou and Phil start trying to one-up each other in an attempt to show Will who the better father figure is. But Phil takes things one step too far and blurts out that Lou is leaving town, and Will storms out feeling betrayed.
Carlton turns into a peacemaker as he and Will have a heartfelt conversation on the porch, which leads to his cousin forgiving Lou for leaving. Phil and Lou also mend bridges, as do Geoffrey and Phil, leading the latter to say that Geoffrey will always be a part of the Banks family.

What to expect from Bel-Air season 4 episodes 4 and 5

Despite doing somewhat well in the aftermath of his kidnapping in episodes 2 and 3, Will will likely still deal with some PTSD in Bel-Air season 4 episodes 4 and 5. However, the focus of the two episodes will be an overarching one across the whole family as they all deal with their own issues.
Other storylines may include Will and Carlton’s business, Blackness, and Aunt Viv’s pregnancy, as she has yet to deal with the possibility of a new member in the Banks family. Another potential focus of the two episodes could be Hilary, who is still dealing with LeMarcus’s death. He passed away during their honeymoon, leaving the oldest Banks’ child a widow before she could even be a wife.
According to the show’s synopsis, she turns to humanitarian work to cope with her grief. That will likely begin in episode 4 or 5, alongside Ashley’s attempt to explore her sexuality and identity as a person as she enters her freshman year of high school.
