Best groups for Honkai Star Rail 4.6 Memory of Chaos (Crossing the Afterlife)

With the Honkai Star Rail 4.6 update arriving, a new cycle of Memory of Chaos has been introduced. As usual, the enemy lineup has been changed, as well as the Memory Turbulence. Furthermore, you can clear all of the early stages by using the “Quick-Clear” feature.

For those who don’t know, this cycle’s last stage will also feature the Starward Mode, like the previous iterations. This mode adds a third node to Stage 12, adding an extra layer of difficulty.

Stage 12 Node 1

In Stage 12’s first node, you will fight @SparxiConOfficial. This adversary is weak to Fire and Quantum; hence, we recommend building teams featuring DPS units wielding the aforementioned elements.

Here are some of the teams you can use to clear Node 1 of Honkai Star Rail 4.6’s first Memory of Chaos cycle:

• Archer, Rin Tohsaka, Sparkle, and Dan Heng Permansor Terrae
• Silver Wolf LV999, Sparxie, Yao Guang, and Pearl/Huohuo

Here, both Archer and Silver Wolf LV999’s dual DPS compositions work well. The former can deal significant damage to the adversaries with the help of Rin Tohsaka. As for the latter, she is an independent damage dealer and so is Sparxie. Hence, if one gets trapped in SparxiCon’s ability, the other one can still deal damage outside.

Stage 12 Node 2

Moving on to Node 2 of Honkai Star Rail 4.6’s first MoC cycle, you will be fighting Zandar. This particular boss is weak to Physical, Ice, and Wind elements. Keeping that in mind, we have listed some teams for this node:

• Evanescia, Yao Guang, Elation Trailblazer, and Pearl/Huohuo
• Castorice, Robin Summeretto, Evernight, and Hyacine

Since Zandar is vulnerable to the Physical element, using Evanescia’s hypercarry team is your best bet for clearing this node. With the sustaining capabilities of the newest Elation unit, Pearl, Evanescia, alongside her other teammates, can chip away at the adversary’s HP bit by bit.

As for alternatives, Castorice’s Premium Composition featuring Robin Summeretto as the buffer works perfectly fine. If you want to, switching Castorice with another buffer (Cyrene) is a good choice.

Stage 12 Node 3

As for the Starward Mode exclusive Node 3, everyone will be up against Murata Graphia. The adversary is weak to Quantum, Fire, and Lightning elements. The following section lists some teams that’ll help you clear Node 3 of Honkai Star Rail 4.6’s first MoC cycle:

• Mortenax Blade, Ashveil, Aventurine Waveflair, and Pearl
• Himeko Nova, Sunday, Dan Heng Permansor Terrae, and Sparkle

Here, Ashveil’s team featuring Mortenax Blade is the perfect one to clear Node 3. Both of the characters have good synergy with Aventurine Waveflair since his Elation Skill feels like a follow-up attack.

If you cannot build the first composition, the second one is just as good. Everyone on the team, except Sparkle, can enhance Himeko Nova’s kit, allowing her to use the assist skill. On top of that, she can deal an absurd amount of damage by herself.
