Best Wishes To AEW Star Andrade

Over this past year, Andrade El Idolo has emerged as one of AEW’s most popular and prominent on-screen players. The Tony Khan-led company sent its best wishes to the Mexican fan-favorite today on a major personal occasion.

Andrade’s second run in All Elite Wrestling began with him joining the Don Callis Family in an effort to get to the AEW Men’s World Title. However, after months of being overlooked and held back by the Invisible Hand, the Real Latino Man walked away from the villainous stable, costing them and MJF a major win at Forbidden Door 2026. His months-long rivalry with Big Hebrew culminated in El Idolo stealing the victory out of Friedman’s grasp in the Men’s Casino Gauntlet match at All In: London.

Besides holding a guaranteed future Men’s World Title shot, Andrade also holds the AEW National Championship, a belt he captured from Mark Davis at Redemption 2026. The United Empire member vowed to defend his strap regularly as a fighting champion, and true to his word, he has mounted successful defenses against stars like Jack Perry and Nick Wayne, Gabe Kidd, the Beast Mortos, Daniel Garcia, PAC (in the late, great high-flyer’s last match before his passing), Michael Oku, Tommaso Ciampa and QT Marshall.

This Tuesday (November 3), Andrade El Idolo celebrates his 37th birthday. The official X/Twitter profile of AEW sent a message just a while earlier, conveying its best wishes to the beloved star on the special occasion.

“Happy Birthday @AndradeElIdolo!”- said the company’s post.

Sportskeeda joins All Elite Wrestling in wishing Andrade a very happy birthday.

Andrade El Idolo has a title match lined up for AEW Collision this week

Dissatisfied with the outcome of their title match at WrestleDream 2026, Tommaso Ciampa called out Andrade for another shot at his AEW National Championship, and even launched a sneak attack upon the latter after his tag team bout on the October 24 episode of Collision, just to get his point across. It was later announced that the Psycho Killer will get his rematch against the erstwhile La Sombra on the November 7 edition of Collision this Saturday, which will take place on and air from the Jericho Cruise.

It remains to be seen whether El Idolo will be able to survive Ciampa after they lock horns this Saturday.
