Boston Celtics Partner With Amica For New Jersey Patch – SportsLogos.Net News

The reigning NBA champion Boston Celtics have announced a multi-year jersey patch partnership with Amica, a Rhode Island-based auto, home and life insurance company.

“The Boston Celtics jersey is not only recognized all across New England, it’s recognized all across the world,” team president Rich Gotham said during a press conference at TD Garden on Tuesday. “It symbolizes excellence and championships and it’s no small thing to put someone on that jersey alongside us.

“The partner that we choose has to be a partner that holds to the same standards, has that same ethos, has a commitment to the community and, frankly, are people that we can vibe with, people that we really want to enjoy a partnership with over a period of time, and Amica puts a check in every single one of those boxes.”

The two organizations have comparable resumes, as the Celtics have a league-leading 18 titles, while Amica – which was founded in 1907 – has the most J.D. Power Awards for customer service excellence (62) in the insurance industry.

“It’s an honor for us to now be the official auto, home and life insurance partner of the Boston Celtics and to offer Amica’s award-winning customer experience to Celtics fans and to even more folks across the New England region and beyond,” Amica president and CEO Ted Shallcross said.

The jersey patch prominently displays Amica’s script wordmark, which was created by Mother Design in 2023, in a contrasting team color on the left shoulder of the Celtics’ white Association, green Icon and black Statement Edition uniforms.

Amica replaces VistaPrint, which has been Boston’s jersey patch partner since the 2020-21 season. The Celtics also partnered with General Electric from 2017-20 as one of the first NBA franchises to display an advertisement on their jerseys.
