Brand New Day releases a number of clips earlier than full trailer reveal

Marvel fans got an unusual preview of Spider-Man: Brand New Day before its official trailer release. Instead of dropping the full trailer at once, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures began revealing short clips from the trailer one by one online.

What makes this campaign different is that many of these clips are being shared through fans around the world. Selected fans were given access to small parts of the trailer and posted them on social media, before the full trailer reveal on March 18, 2026.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day builds hype as fans release trailer clips online

These clips started appearing online shortly after Tom Holland officially announced that the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day would be released soon. The actor shared the update through a video message to fans, confirming the trailer reveal date.

He also revealed that small pieces of the film’s trailer would begin appearing through fan accounts from different parts of the world, allowing fans to share short clips online before the full trailer is released.

While most clips were shared by fan accounts, several well-known creators and public figures have helped reveal the teaser clips for Spider-Man: Brand New Day as part of its global fan-driven trailer campaign. Among the major names involved is Esteban Ocon, the French Formula One driver, who posted one of the short teaser clips on social media.

Popular Indian YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani also joined the campaign by sharing a piece of the trailer. Other accounts that revealed clips include the well-known African creative group Choir Africa, along with several fan creators from different parts of the world.

More than 20 short clips had already appeared online at the time of this writing. Each video lasts only a few seconds, but together they offer glimpses of the story and action in the upcoming film. The clips mainly focus on Spider-Man swinging through New York and continuing his life as a hero after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day short clips also hints at Peter Parker’s emotional struggles. After the memory spell in the previous film, people close to him, including MJ and Ned Leeds, no longer remember who he is. Some clips also tease new characters and street-level action across New York City.

Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 31, 2026. Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker, alongside Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned. The cast also includes Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher, marking the character’s entry into the film’s story.

Sadie Sink is also set to appear in a mystery role that has not yet been revealed. Mark Ruffalo will appear as Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan, also known as the Scorpion.
