Brandi Rhodes makes a particular request after Cody Rhodes is humiliated on WWE SmackDown

The rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre has been taken to a whole new personal level with The Scottish Warrior’s actions on WWE SmackDown. McIntyre burned a picture of Rhodes with his father, the late great Dusty Rhodes, in the middle of the ring, as The American Nightmare looked on helplessly.

Cody’s wife, Brandi Rhodes, has reacted to these events, making a special request. Taking to X, Brandi expressed her desire to “talk to” Drew McIntyre.

“Let me talk to Drew,” Brandi wrote.

To get into Cody Rhodes‘ head, McIntyre has fired shots at Brandi as well during this rivalry. The bitter rivals will collide in a Three Stages of Hell Match on next week’s SmackDown. The Scottish Warrior revealed each stage this week. The first match will be a singles contest, the second match will be a Falls Count Anywhere, and the third match, if need be, will be a Steel Cage Match.

The bout is expected to conclude the rivalry. It remains to be seen who walks out of Berlin with the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Randy Orton confronted Cody Rhodes on WWE SmackDown

Randy Orton made his return to television on this week’s SmackDown, interrupting The Miz and hitting not one, but two RKOs on him. Backstage, he confronted Cody Rhodes and announced that after The American Nightmare’s match against Drew McIntyre next week, he would be coming after the Undisputed WWE Championship.

“Codeman! It’s good to be back. Listen, I’m glad I ran into you. Because out of respect, I need to let you know, now that I’m back in the ring, once you beat Drew McIntyre next week in Berlin, I am coming for this [the Undisputed WWE Championship],” Randy said

The Triple H-led creative team has teased a feud between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes several times, but has yet to pull the trigger. It remains to be seen if The American Nightmare can retain his title next week and finally kickstart a program with his former mentor.
