A former AEW World Champion finally returned to television following a major setback.
The aforementioned star is The Best Bout Machine, Kenny Omega. At the start of the September 20 episode of Dynamite, Omega was spotted on stage with the rest of the locker room as he joined the ten-bell salute for PAC, who tragically passed away a day after the All Out 2026 pay-per-view.
Later that night, Omega teamed up with his Elite allies, The Young Bucks and Hangman Adam Page, to square off against the Don Callis Family members (Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta, and Kevin Knight). The Elite delivered an excellent performance and capped off the victory when The Bucks hit a BTE Trigger, followed by Omega’s V-Trigger on Beretta, and pinned him. You can check out the clip below:
This was Kenny Omega’s in-ring return after more than a month away from All Elite Wrestling. His last appearance was a blockbuster encounter against Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship in the main event of All In 2026. The Cleaner lost his title to Ospreay, yet was applauded for delivering one of the greatest in-ring bouts in professional wrestling history.
Kenny Omega’s return to AEW came at the tribute episode to PAC
Kenny Omega returned to AEW on tonight’s episode of Dynamite, which was presented as a tribute to PAC. The Bastard unexpectedly passed away last Sunday, which came as a major shocker for the entire wrestling world. A follow-up report said that he was found slumped over and passed out in a vehicle outside a restaurant.
This week’s episode honored PAC’s memory, with wrestlers including Omega paying tribute to his life and legacy throughout the night. On the other hand, with Omega back in the fold, it remains to be seen what will be next for him.
