In a post on social media, soon after the news broke, Ric Flair reacted and said that the wrestling interviewer was someone who had helped to develop his skills in interviews. He said that Bob Caudle had been a great man and that he would be remembered as one of the greatest announcers of all time. He went on to say that he cherished each moment that he got to spend with the announcer, and wished that he rests in peace.

Bob Caudle was a legend of the wrestling business, working as an announcer and interviewer. He was loved as one of the most trusted play-by-play announcers as well.
