Multiple people were shot outside a Reno, Nevada, casino on Monday morning.
A police officer shot the suspect. The unidentified suspect, a male, was taken to a hospital.
The condition of the victims is unknown.
It is unclear how many people were shot. Three police officers were injured, but the injuries were not from gunfire.
The mass shooting happened at the Grand Sierra Resort outside the valet area.
“Authorities say there was a police-involved shooting at a casino and resort in Reno, Nevada, on Monday and multiple injuries were reported. A suspect was in custody. Reno police spokesperson Chris Johnson said an adult male suspect was in custody and had been hospitalized in unknown condition. Multiple people were shot, Johnson said, but added that their conditions were not immediately known. The shooting was reported around 7:30 a.m. Monday outside the casino in the valet area, Johnson said,” the AP reported.
