Brock Lesnar Dominates John Cena & Other Wrestlepalooza Reactions

The gong hit, and the Indianapolis crowd went into pandemonium. The ‘American Badass’, the Undertaker, made his way to the ring riding a motorcycle. He then went towards Stephanie McMahon in the crowd and grabbed a microphone. Before saying, “Are you ready?” (something he always wanted to say), The Undertaker told Stephanie McMahon she is going into the Hall of Fame.

This was just one part of Wrestlepalooza that was truly memorable. Let us look at some others.

Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena: Beast Conquers the Farewell Tour

The rivalry between Brock Lesnar and John Cena may have reached its foregone conclusion Saturday night. Heading into the match, the rumor was that WWE didn’t know who would come out the winner. Would it be Brock Lesnar, one of the most decorated athletes the world has ever seen? Or would it be John Cena, who is on his farewell tour with limited dates left?

During John Cena’s entrance, many Make-A-Wish kids came out to honor him. But once the bell rang, the result wasn’t close. Cena hit a few Attitude Adjustments and shoulder tackles, but Lesnar dominated, hitting multiple F-5s before picking up the victory at Wrestlepalooza.

Fans were surprised by the one-sided booking, but it looks like WWE wants Lesnar to be the face of the ESPN era. Many expected someone to attack Cena after the match to set up his next feud, but that didn’t happen — leaving his future wide open.

The Usos vs. The Vision: Shocking Tag Team Finish

Next up was the tag team showdown between the Usos and The Vision (Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker). Many thought the Usos would win after reuniting and coming out with their old entrance theme. With LA Knight as the special guest referee, the match had plenty of drama — including one Uso being bloodied.

Ultimately, Bronson Reed sealed the victory for The Vision with a Tsunami from the top rope, solidifying their rise as WWE’s new powerhouse team.

Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer: A New Women’s Champion Crowned

With Naomi vacating the WWE Women’s Championship due to pregnancy, Raw GM booked a title match between Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer at Wrestlepalooza.

The two delivered a hard-hitting, high-energy bout. Vaquer impressed fans and commentators with her Devil’s Kiss move before defeating Sky to capture her first WWE Women’s Championship. The victory marks the beginning of a new era in women’s wrestling.

AJ Lee’s Return: Black Widow Strikes Again

AJ Lee made her long-awaited in-ring return after nearly a decade, teaming with CM Punk against Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins.

The mixed tag wasn’t a classic, but once AJ got the hot tag, the crowd exploded. Lee locked in her signature Black Widow submission on Lynch, forcing her to tap out. AJ scored her first win in 10 years, raising questions about whether she could be heading for a singles title run.

Main Event: Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre

In the main event, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defended against Drew McIntyre. The match was a back-and-forth battle, but Rhodes exploited McIntyre’s lingering knee injury to retain the championship.
