A man was detained Wednesday morning near the Capitol after police spotted a vehicle with a tricycle on its roof with a bow and arrow and empty holster inside near a security barrier located at 200 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, according to reports.
The man admitted to having guns in the car, according to a statement by Capitol Police.

Fox News reporter Chad Pergram, “USCP: This morning, USCP officers saw an unusual vehicle on Pennsylvania Avenue with tri-cycle strapped to the roof. Upon looking closer, officers saw a bow and arrow and empty gun holster in plain view. The owner of the vehicle was located just outside of the north barricade, and was detained for further questioning. The individual admitted to having guns in the vehicle, along with the bow and arrow.”
