A cargo jet went up in flames because it was flying over Miami Thursday evening, creating a daunting and doubtlessly lethal state of affairs that was all caught on video, however, fortunately, no person was injured in the long run.
The Atlas Air Boeing 747 airplane took off from Miami Worldwide Airport for Puerto Rico at 10:32 PM – and simply minutes into the flight one of many engines caught hearth.
Because the airliner was streaking via the sky, one lady on the bottom turned on her cellphone digicam and began recording the fireball.
Test it out … Sparks shoot out from the rear of the jet as the girl expresses utter shock, “Oh my god. It’s on fire. Oh my god.”
She then calls over her mother, whereas stating, “Holy s**t. I hope they’re ok.”
After a couple of extra seconds, the video cuts off because the airplane seems to be on a downward trajectory.
A rep for Atlas Air instructed TMZ that whereas the airplane skilled an engine malfunction, the crew adopted all customary procedures and safely returned to Miami Worldwide Airport.
Atlas officers, together with the Federal Aviation Administration, are investigating the reason for the incident.
