The Carolina Panthers will as soon as once more put on their black alternate helmets throughout Sunday’s sport towards the Atlanta Falcons, which kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
This marks the second consecutive dwelling sport towards the Falcons that the Panthers will put on the helmets, which debuted last season and have mild blue decals and a black facemask.
The helmets will likely be paired with Carolina’s all-black Shade Rush uniforms, identical to they have been throughout final 12 months’s 25-15 win over Atlanta on Thursday Evening Soccer.
“I’m a big, big fan,” rookie quarterback Bryce Young said this week when asked about the uniforms. “Very excited for them.”
Complementing the uniforms, Sunday can be the Panthers’ “Inspire Change” sport, which features a celebration of Black tradition and performances at halftime and through timeouts by HBCU bands and dancers.
Previous to final season, Carolina solely wore silver helmets courting again to their inaugural season in 1995. Their uniforms have remained largely unchanged, as properly.
