Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson suffered a hamstring injury against Texas Tech on October 18, 2025. The pacey pass catcher hasn’t featured for the Sun Devils since.
According to CFB insider Pete Thamel, Tyson will return to practice today and start individual drills. However, it’s too soon to know whether he’ll be available for this weekend’s game against the Colorado Buffaloes.
Tyson started his college football career with the Buffaloes in 2022. He featured in nine games that season and amassed a stat line of 22 catches, 470 receiving yards, and five touchdowns. He entered the transfer portal at the end of the season and took his talents to Arizona State.

Tyson has since become the program’s primary pass catcher. He’s amassed a stat line of 57 catches, 628 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns in seven games. He’ll hope to feature against his old side in the upcoming matchup.
Kenny Dillingham and Arizona State are up against Deion Sanders’ Colorado in Week 13
Kenny Dillingham will take his troops to Folsom Field in Colorado to face off against the Deion Sanders-coached Buffaloes. The game is arguably the standout Big 12 contest for the week.
The Arizona State Sun Devils enter the game with a 7-3 record. They remain in the running for the conference title, and with that, a playoff berth. In their way is a 3-7 Colorado side looking to spoil their Big 12 title hopes.
The game could feature Jordyn Tyson’s return to his old stomping ground. However, the star wide receiver needs to get the go-ahead from his head coach. Other Sun Devils wide receivers, including but not limited to Malik McClain, Derek Eusebio, and Jaren Hamilton, could be in line to get major targets due to Tyson’s potential absence.
