Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Says He Only Hires Blacks Because They Are More ‘Generous’ Than Whites (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has said he only hires black people because they are the “most generous people on the planet.”

During an event this weekend, Johnson boasted about how black people make the majority of powerful positions in the mayor’s office.

He explained:

There are detractors that will push back on me and say, you know, the only thing that the mayor talks about is the hiring of black people.

No, what I’m saying is, when you hire our people, we always look out for everybody else. We are the most generous people on the planet.

I don’t know too many cultures that have play cousins. That’s how generous we are. We just make somebody a family member, right? This is how we are.

Since taking over from Lori Lightfoot in 2023, Johnson has continued the far-left progressive policies of his precedessor, most notably through an obsession with DEI and race, calling for reparations and providing sanctuary to illegal aliens from immigration authorities.

During a House Oversight Committee hearing back in March, Johnson refused to give straight answers and he was interrogated about his policy of putting illegal aliens above Americans.

Among his policy proposals include providing illegals with river’s licenses, free healthcare and education, voting rights and even government-funded abortions,

Nevertheless, there are signs that even residents of one of America’s most deep-blue cities are begininning to tire of Johnson’s leadership.

According to a poll taken back in February, Johnson’s approval rating was in the single digits, while 80 percent said they disapproved of his tenure in office.

This marks one of the worst approval ratings in the city’s history.
