ChiefsAholic pleads responsible to financial institution theft, cash laundering

Xavier Babudar, higher recognized by his wolf-themed Kansas Metropolis Chiefs superfan alias “ChiefsAholic,” pled guilty to at least one depend of financial institution theft, one depend of cash laundering, and one depend of transporting stolen property throughout state traces on Wednesday.

Babudar, who turned himself in to authorities back in July after a monthslong fugitive run, was beforehand indicted on 19 fees by a federal grand jury in August. “His violent crime spree across the Midwest and beyond traumatized bank employees and victimized financial institutions in seven states,” U.S. Lawyer Tessa Moore mentioned in a press release, per Sports activities Illustrated. “With today’s conviction, he will be held accountable for the full scope of his criminal conduct, including his attempt to flee from justice.”

ChiefsAholic should pay over $500,000 in restitution and forfeit property. In keeping with prosecutors, Babudar should surrender an autographed portray of Patrick Mahomes as a part of the forfeiture.
