Cody Rhodes noticed for the primary time since dropping the Undisputed WWE Championship; seen with real-life Bloodline members

Cody Rhodes has been spotted for the first time since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship. Last week on SmackDown, he lost the title to Drew McIntyre.

Rhodes is a two-time Undisputed WWE Champion. At the 2025 SummerSlam Premium Live Event, he regained the championship by dethroning John Cena and ending his 17th reign as champion. The American Nightmare successfully defended the title against McIntyre on a few occasions before eventually dropping the title to him in a Three Stages of Hell Match after the returning Jacob Fatu set his sights on both superstars.

Despite Fatu’s actions, Rhodes doesn’t have any hard feelings for his family members, Jimmy and Jey Uso. On his Instagram story, Jey shared a photo with the two from the Fanatics Studios and sent a one-word message.

“Dawgs,” wrote Jey.

The Usos are signed to Monday Night RAW and are the reigning WWE World Tag Team Champions. This past RAW, Jimmy was absent from the red brand, but Jey did appear and had a good time with the WWE Universe.

Tommy Dreamer on Cody Rhodes possibly turning heel

Tommy Dreamer thinks that Cody Rhodes turning heel after losing the Undisputed WWE Championship would be the “worst scenario”.

Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, Dreamer claimed that WWE fans wouldn’t enjoy a Rhodes heel turn. He said:

“If you want heel Cody, beware of what you wish for. If this is an era where we want to cheer bad, okay, your worst scenario as a wrestling fan is a bad Cody Rhodes. I’m telling you, I know what he has to be a heel, and what you see as a top guy heel, you ain’t gonna like it,”

Rhodes’ next direction in the WWE is yet to be revealed. It remains to be seen if he goes after McIntyre for a direct rematch or sets his sights on Jacob Fatu, who cost The American Nightmare the title.
