WWE recently released tickets for WrestleMania 42, with Cody Rhodes among the superstars featured on the poster. The Grandest Stage of Them All will be returning to Las Vegas for a second consecutive year, and Rhodes has seemingly given away a spoiler about his match at the premium live event.
The WWE Champion appeared on the ALL THE SMOKE: Unplugged podcast and spoke about the Show of Shows returning to Las Vegas next year. While hyping up the experience the company has in store for fans, Cody Rhodes also claimed he would not lose his match next year, after losing the WWE Title to John Cena in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania 41.
“Last year at a record setting WrestleMania in Allegiant Stadium, lovingly nicknamed ‘The Death Star’… I lost. So we’ll go right of the cuff and say, you come to WrestleMania 42, I will not be losing.”
Cody Rhodes reveals a surprising secret about Logan Paul
Earlier in the same episode of ALL THE SMOKE: Unplugged, The American Nightmare was asked about the rise of the Paul brothers. While Rhodes claimed he wanted to get to know Jake better, he revealed an interesting secret about Logan.
Cody Rhodes praised how receptive The Maverick was to advice backstage, and claimed he was the future of WWE:
“There’s a softening to them (Paul brothers) and not just a softening of ‘Oh, they’re okay guys.’ They’re really smart businessmen. Here’s something I really like about Logan, I hope he doesn’t mind me sharing this. Logan doesn’t need necessarily [sic] to listen to everybody. Anytime I’ve told him to do this in a match, man he’s all ears. Sponge. And really taking it in… that’s how I know he’s going to go further. I think Logan’s a huge part of WWE moving forward.”
Paul returned to programming on the November 3 edition of WWE RAW, confronting CM Punk. By the end of the show, the former United States Champion had seemingly aligned with The Vision.
