Ex-Chicago Blackhawks participant Corey Perry is breaking his silence … apologizing for his actions and adamantly denying the explanation he received kicked off the staff had something to do with Connor Bedard‘s mom.
The 38-year-old Canadian had his contract terminated earlier this week … after the staff mentioned he violated the Blackhawks’ inner insurance policies over “conduct that is unacceptable.”
The transfer got here days after people on social media unfold a rumor that Perry connected with Bedard’s mother, Melanie … and the chatter received so loud, Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson had to address the “wildly inaccurate” and “disgusting” claims.
Now, Perry can be talking out on the state of affairs … and he, too, is confronting the false narrative head-on.
“As a result of my actions, there has been speculation and rumors,” Perry mentioned in a press release. “I am sickened by the impact this has had on others, and I want to make it clear that in no way did this situation involve any of my teammates or their families.”
