Dak Prescott has confirmed his breakup with Sarah Jane Ramos. The couple’s relationship came to an end after almost three years of dating.
While they were planning to tie the knot on April 10, before that last month, during their joint bachelor and bachelorette trip, Ramos had reportedly called off the wedding after learning about the NFL star’s alleged “inappropriate” messages to other women.

Following their breakup, Prescott filed a legal petition for the custody of their daughters, Margaret Jane and Aurora. In the legal documentation, obtained by Us Weekly on April 5, it was mentioned that the “parents” of the children were “separated,” and for the “best interests of the children,” Prescott and Ramos were appointed to a “joint managing conservator.”

“The parents of the children are separated. The appointment of the parents as joint managing conservators would be in the best interest of the children,” court documents read. “It is in the best interest of the children that [Prescott and Ramos] be appointed joint managing conservators of the children.”

As per the order, Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos are not allowed to move their kids out of Texas without the other parent’s permission, and both have 30 days to provide financial information for determining child support.
Ramos and Prescott’s love story started in 2023, and a year later, in October, the NFL star proposed to her. They welcomed their elder daughter, Margaret Jane Ramos, in February 2024, and in May 2025, they were blessed with their second baby, Aurora.

Last month, Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer opened up about Dak Prescott after his wedding with Sarah Jane Ramos was called off. The coach said that the NFL star is “in a really good spot.”
“Dak and I have had a ton of conversations,” Shottenheimer said. “He’s in a really good spot, obviously with what he’s dealing with is incredibly tough. But if anyone can handle it, he can.”
Sarah Jane Ramos has also moved on and focused on spending more time with her daughters after her breakup. Last month, she shared a mirror selfie from the gym in a white corset top and black pants. Before that, she also shared moments with her daughters.
