Dana Carvey‘s eldest son, Dex, died from a mix of medication that sadly took his life … TMZ has confirmed.
In keeping with the L.A. County Medical Examiner’s Workplace — the comic’s grownup son’s official reason for dying was toxicity from fentanyl, ketamine and cocaine. The company lists his dying as unintentional.
TMZ broke the story … Dex passed away in November after his girlfriend known as 911 … and first responders discovered him unresponsive within the rest room of an L.A. house.
Our sources say paramedics tried reviving him, however to no avail … he was pronounced useless on the scene.
Days later, Dana stated Dex died of an unintentional drug overdose … penning an emotional tribute to his son, praising his musical skills and calling him a “beautiful person.”
