DeAndre Hopkins and the rest of the NFL world watched as the Baltimore Ravens pulled off the biggest trade of the offseason. The Ravens are bringing in superstar defensive end Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for two first-round picks.
Hopkins spent the 2025 season with the Ravens, and he’s made his feelings clear on the Crosby trade.

Maxx Crosby is a two-time second-team All-Pro selection and has earned five consecutive Pro Bowl selections since his breakout season in 2021.
Crosby has recorded at least seven sacks in every season despite being consistently double-teamed. He was the Raiders’ best defensive player for over half a decade and arrives in Baltimore with quite the reputation.

DeAndre Hopkins and the Ravens have yet to agree on a new deal
DeAndre Hopkins believes that the Baltimore Ravens are getting a proven performer in Maxx Crosby. However, there’s a high chance that Hopkins won’t get to play with Crosby in the 2026 season and potentially for the rest of his career.
That’s because Hopkins is set to be a free agent following the completion of his one-year deal with the Ravens. He played in all 17 games in the 2025 regular season, recording a stat line of 22 catches, 330 yards and two touchdowns.
However, the Ravens are yet to offer him new terms as they prepare for life under new coach Jesse Minter. Furthermore, the Ravens have been linked with fellow perennial Pro Bowler wide receiver Mike Evans. Evans is tipped to test free agency after his 12th season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
DeAndre Hopkins is still chasing his first Super Bowl ring. He’d love to run it back with the Ravens. However, if that’s not possible, then expect him to join another contender ahead of the 2026 campaign.
