Dem Senator Mark Kelly Shares ‘Note’ From ‘Everyday American’ That Was Left on His Plane Seat While He Was within the Restroom and The Replies Are Absolutely Savage

A man in a suit discusses U.S. military strikes against drug-carrying boats on a news program, highlighting current policy issues.

Disgraced Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) is getting dragged brutally for sharing a purported letter from an ‘everyday American’ he claims to have found on a recent flight.

Kelly said on X on Wednesday that he was flying from Boston to Phoenix when he needed to go to the bathroom. When he returned, he ‘discovered’ a depressing note from a young man struggling to find work, begging him for help.

“On a flight from Boston to Phoenix, and this note was in my seat when I returned from the restroom,” Kelly announced on X. “I think this shows how much an entire generation is struggling. Whether it’s my own kids or a random person on a random flight, young people are frustrated. There is massive anxiety and uncertainty about the future.”

“This government hasn’t done jack sh*t for hardworking young Americans who have done everything right,” he continued. “But if you are a billionaire with a big stock portfolio and a bigger tax cut, Trump’s ‘Golden Age’ has arrived.”

Here is what the note reads in full:

Senator Kelly,

I’m 25 years old with a college degree, 4 years into my career, and I’m just barely scraping by. I can’t see myself ever being able to afford kids or a home.

Every day, a financially secure future feels further and further out of reach. Please fight for affordable housing and healthcare.

I’m quite literally begging you.

– An everyday American

Naturally, Americans did not believe for a second that some random young person just happened to not only know Kelly’s name but also that he was on the flight.

Outside of political junkies and Arizona, almost no American knows who Kelly is.

The ensuing replies to Kelly’s post were absolutely hilarious and savage.
