Donald Trump was not a fan of the latest Super Bowl halftime show, and he made his disgust at it known straight away.
On Sunday, Bad Bunny headlined the annual NFL championship game’s mini-concert, mainly performing his Spanish-language hits while also ebing accompanied by the likes of Lady Gaga. While reception to it was mixed as usual, the US President was among the detractors, writing on social media:

“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent the standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for children from the USA and all over the world.”

Interestingly enough, Turning Point USA, a political organization founded by the late pro-Trump activist Charlie Kirk, also held its own Super Bowl halftime show at the same time as Bad Bunny, headlined by rapper-singer Kid Rock. In the build-up to the Super Bowl, White House press secretary Karolina Leavitt said:
“I think the president would much prefer a Kid Rock performance over Bad Bunny. I must say that.”
