It’s not the most exciting week in terms of economic data, and today is the slowest one in terms of data.
Asia-Pac has the July Business Services Index, but apart from that, it’s a snoozer.
Later in the EU/US session, we do have the NAHB Housing Market Index, but when that is your economic highlight for the day that tells you everything you need to know.
The main event for the week is the Jackson Hole symposium, with Powell’s speech scheduled for 15:00 BST (09:00 EDT).
Will be interesting to see how he shapes the conversation around the labour market, will have more on that later.
