Edmonton Oilers New Uniform Revealed in Leaked Photo? – Sports activitiesLogos.Net News

A leaked photograph should the supposed new third jersey for the Edmonton Oilers was posted to Instagram early Wednesday evening.

The photograph shows a cream or white sweater with a scripted blue “Oilers” wordmark across the chest, accompanied by two diagonal orange lines, one above and one below. The shoulders are blue with orange and blue trim; there appears to be a new patch on the right shoulder, though the quality of the photo is too low to make out any of its details. The collar is blue, and the sleeve and waist striping consist of a single, thick blue stripe with smaller orange stripes on either side. The patch in the upper right corner of the chest is a PlayAlberta advertisement.

This would be the first Edmonton Oilers third jersey since they dropped their navy blue and orange uniform following the 2023-24 season. The Oilers have had four alternate uniforms throughout their history, none of them had been white or cream, though they have worn two different white specialty uniforms — their first was a white throwback worn during the NHL’s first outdoor game in 2003, the other was during the first wave of Reverse Retro uniforms in 2021.

While I am not able to confirm or deny this leak for you, I feel confident enough in its authenticity to share it with you here. Take that for whatever it’s worth.
