Social media web site X has began to point out information headlines alongside hyperlinks shared to the service, reversing a change that proprietor Elon Musk made in October to eliminate news headlines from posts.
Customers began noticing headlines on X, the service previously often called Twitter, this week. Musk said late last year that the choice to take away information headlines got here from him “directly.”
Critics of the change had been fast to level out that eradicating the headlines made it harder to find out what information articles different customers had been sharing, or what hyperlinks on the web site directed to.
