EU agrees to pause countermeasures towards US tariffs for 90 days

• We want to give negotiations a chance
• But if negotiations are not satisfactory, our countermeasures will kick in
• Preparatory work on further countermeasures continues
• All options remain on the table

This was expected after Trump decided to go with the pause yesterday. The countermeasures from the EU were supposed to go into effect on 15 April initially. As a reminder though, the EU is still slapped with 10% tariffs by the US in the meantime; just not the 20% that was proposed at first.
