European Heavyweights Like Manchester United, Bayern Munich Headline Recent Kit Launches – SportsLogos.Net News

With the FIFA Club World Cup around the corner, clubs across Europe’s top-flight domestic soccer leagues have been busy unveiling new kits that they’ll wear for the tournament in the United States and into their league seasons starting later this summer.

Here’s a look at all several new kits unveiled in the past week or so in England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France:

MANCHESTER UNITED – Home

Legendary English Premier League side Manchester United takes inspiration from their home ground, Old Trafford, for their 2025-26 home kit made by Adidas. The abstract tonal pattern on the sleeves showcases “various elements of the pitch, stands and tunnel,” while “Theatre of Dreams” is printed in white on the back collar. The Adidas shoulder stripes and piping down the front are black, while most of the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs are black with a white stripe through the centre.

🇩🇪 BAYERN MUNICH – Home

‘M’ is for Munich on German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich’s 2025-26 home kits, made by Adidas. The kits uses a fading pattern in the club’s traditional red and white colours to create a giant M on the front of the jersey. Panels under the arms, sleeve cuffs and most of the crew neck collar are white, as is the “MIA SAN MIA” motto on the back collar.

🇪🇸 REAL MADRID – Home

Spanish La Liga powerhouses Real Madrid go back to basics for their 2025-26 home kits, made by Adidas. The kits, which are mostly white aside from the black Adidas shoulder stripes and yellow piping down the front, are described as “modern” and “elegant,” combining “textures and lines” from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium both before and after extensive recent renovations. The yellow shade in the piping is the same shade found on Real’s crest.

🇫🇷 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN – Home

Current French Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions League champions Paris Saint-Germain put a new spin on their traditional home kit with the 2025-26 version, made by Nike. The usual red stripe outlined in white that runs down the centre of the front of the jersey is reimagined in a “lattice-inspired graphic that pays tribute to the city’s architectural heritage.” A tonal version of the graphic covers the rest of the front of the midnight blue jersey.

🇮🇹 INTER MILAN – Home and Away

The team PSG beat in the Champions League final, Inter Milan of Italy’s Serie A, have released both their home and away kits, made by Nike, for 2025-26. The home kit — which was released last week and slipped under our radar — reinterprets the club’s traditional blue and black stripes by contorting them to spell out “INTER” on the front of the shirt, accented with a light blue crest and sponsor logo. The away kit, meanwhile, was released just this week. The pattern of crosses in varying shades of blue on the white base “visually conveys the club’s founding values of inclusion and diversity, with a pattern that celebrates the belief that a team is strong thanks to the uniqueness of each of its members.”

CHELSEA FC – Away

The red and green pinstripes down the centre of the front of Chelsea’s new Nike away kit for 2025-26 is a tribute to an away kit the club wore in the 1974-75, which itself was created by manager Dave Sexton to honour the “Magnificent Magyars” Hungarian national team of the 1950s “whose extravagant patterns on the pitch had so influenced [Sexton’s] own winning football.” Chelsea’s crest is rendered in green and red, and sits on the left chest of the warm white jersey. The sleeve cuffs consist of a broad green stripe and a narrower red stripe, and tapering green and red stripes run down the sides.

🇪🇸 ATLÉTICO DE MADRID – Home

Perennial Spanish La Liga contenders Atlético de Madrid are keeping it traditional with their 2025-26 home kits, made by Nike. The kits feature the club’s traditional red and white vertical stripes, with no additions or embellishments like they’ve had in recent years. The stripes continue on the sleeves and the back, save for a white square for number legibility.

🇪🇸 VILLARREAL CF – Home

La Liga side Villarreal CF is nicknamed “the Yellow Submarine” for good reason, and they once again fully embrace the colour yellow with their 2025-26 home kits, made by Joma. They do, however, introduce a new element in a navy blue vertical stripe down the centre of the front of the shirt. Sponsor logos are also navy blue, as is the back half of the V-neck collar.

🇩🇪 RB LEIPZIG – Away

German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig takes inspiration from the stadium lights of their home ground, Red Bull Arena, for their 2025-26 away kit, made by Puma. The navy blue base has diagonal red pinstripes down the front flare out at regular intervals to mimic the red LED strips on the stadium facade. “This powerful lighting element shapes the design and symbolises the energy we want to bring to our performances on the road in the upcoming season,” the club says. Puma logos on the chest and shoulders are yellow, as are the name, number and team name printed on the back.
