“Extreme weirdo behavior,” “Sore loser”: NFL followers rip Kenneth Walker after not shaking arms with any Seahawks participant or coach after loss

Kenneth Walker finally met his match after five mostly dominant showings, and he did not take it well.

On Sunday, the incumbent Super Bowl MVP put up his worst showing since joining the Kansas City Chiefs. Against the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, he had just 14 carries for 36 yards and no touchdowns.

And during the closing seconds of the game, NBC’s cameras caught him avoiding his former teammates and coaches, instead heading back to the locker room:

Such antics caused much uproar from fans:

“Sore loser always salty after an L. Hold that L, Kenneth Walker,” one sneered.

“Extreme weirdo behavior,” another jeered.

“That’s why he’s gone…”, one snickered.

“Bro left because he wanted more touches and didn’t care about the team, and then got belt,” one reminded.

“Zero respect… he’s childish. Remember he wanted out bc he wanted to be the only back to get 2k rushing yards a season. Cry me a river K9 frfr,” another snarled.

“I respect K9 but this is so childish get over it bro,” another urged.

As if to compound Walker’s woes, Patrick Mahomes put up a sickly 165 yards on 19-of-33 passing and was intercepted once. He also failed to engineer a red zone drive for the first time when starting a game.

The Seahawks, meanwhile, were buoyed by Sam Darnold, who rebounded somewhat with 20 completions for 257 yards and a touchdown to Jaxon Smith-Njigba against an interception. Emanuel Wilson also had a strong showing, rushing for 100 yards and a score.

Seahawks S Nick Emmanwori discusses shutting down Kenneth Walker

One player who proved vital to the Seahawks’ containment of Kenneth Walker was Nick Emmanwori.

When asked about what motivated him and his performance against his former teammate throughout the night, the second-year safety said:

“I definitely wanted to stop him under 100. A lot of the guys on the defense did, too.”

The Chiefs’ next assignment is on the road against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Nov. 1, with kickoff at 3:25 p.m. CT on CBS. Meanwhile, the Seahawks remain at Lumen Field to face the Chicago Bears the next day. That game starts at 5:15 p.m. PT on ABC/ESPN.
