A former AEW Women’s World Champion has just taken to social media to call out fans who acted like creeps towards her. This comes following her recent announcement that she was going through a divorce.
Last month, Thunder Rosa revealed that she and her husband Brian Cervantes have decided to end their relationship after 14 years. She asked that fans and those around her would give her respect and understanding during this time.
La Mera Mera recently took to her Instagram Story to address a situation that has been occurring recently, which was fans sending her creepy messages. She shared one example, calling the individual out and threatening to expose them and many others if they continue to do this.
“Okay, so there’s nobody y’all know that wants to s*x me up. A fan who said, ‘Talk to me, talk to me, hello, talk to me,’ and then he sent me a link to the video ‘I Wanna S*x You Up.’ So yes, it was in the DMs. So all of y’all nasty a**es who thought there was tea—yeah, there’s no tea. But if you keep sending me stuff like that, I might put something there and put you on blast. I’m not gonna cover your face.”
The AEW star then wondered why people were more active in this regard, instead of sending her heartfelt messages during other moments in her personal life.
“If you wanna talk like that, at least go on Patreon and pay for it. I’m not gonna be like, ‘Hellooo? And also, you know what made me sad? I had more people commenting on this thing than when I’m saying I’m DYING! Or when I announced I was single — people never sent me this many messages.” [H/T RSN]

The AEW star recently shared awareness on something happening in the industry
Last month, Becky Lynch revealed that a former WWE individual used to harass members of the women’s roster and force them to sleep with him. He would also blacklist them based on how they responded.
Thunder Rosa also shared that before her time in AEW, she had an experience like such. She then chewed them out on the spot and called them out in front of everyone around.
“It happened to me one time, when I was really, really young in the business, and one guy was just being funny, I guess, and he touched me without my permission,” Rosa said. “I went off on him in front of everybody, and then he thought I was crazy.” [H/T – Wrestling Inc]
Thunder Rosa has not been seen in AEW for some time, but she has been actively updating fans on her condition, so this may come sooner than later.
