Genshin Impact Luna IV drip advertising reveals Columbina, an upcoming playable character

HoYoverse has officially announced that Columbina will be released in the Genshin Impact Luna IV update. She was first introduced in A Winter Night’s Lazzo teaser and made her first in-game appearance in the Song of the Welkin Moon Archon Quest. The developers have also shared additional information about her in the official drip marketing campaign.

Genshin Impact Luna IV drip marketing reveals Columbina

HoYoverse has finally drip-marketed the first character for the upcoming Genshin Impact Luna IV update, confirming Columbina Hyposelenia will debut as a playable unit. She is the Moon Goddess and the former Fatui Harbinger, and has played a significant role in the Song of the Welkin Moon Archon Quest.

Columbina’s drip marketing post has shared the following details about her:

• Name: Columbina Hyposelenia
• Title: Welkin Moon’s Homecoming
• The Moon Maiden
• ???: Hydro
• Constellation: ???

Based on the title, the officials have also finally confirmed that Columbina is the Welkin Moon. Unfortunately, the source of her power and Constellation names haven’t been revealed. Given her status, Columbina will likely be released as a 5-star character.

In addition, the drip marketing post has shared a new name, Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya. Based on the name alone, it might be the Cryo Archon’s real name. However, this is purely a speculation.

In any case, Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya has said this about the Moon Maiden:

“Winter nights know no mercy. She left her curtained nest in frost and snow; no one is obliged to restore that which she has lost.”

Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya states that Columbina left her curtained nest, which likely refers to the Fatui, and is responsible for herself.

Expected release window for Columbina

According to the ongoing update cycle, version Luna IV is expected to be released on January 14, 2026. Therefore, Travelers can expect Columbina to debut on one of the following dates:

• Phase I: January 14, 2026
• Phase II: February 3, 2026

Since Columbina is the first drip marketed character for version Luna IV, she is more likely to be in the first phase. More details about her will be revealed during the Special Program, expected to be livestreamed on January 2, 2026.
