The Georgia Southern Eagles (8-4) will face the Sam Houston Bearkats (9-3) on Thursday night in the 2024 New Orleans Bowl. The game will take place at Caesars Superdome, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET.
Under coach Clay Helton, the Eagles have secured their third straight bowl appearance. However, they are yet to taste victory with their previous two bowl games, the 2022 Camellia Bowl and 2023 Myrtle Beach, ending in losses. However, they have some momentum going into this game, winning against Appalachian State in the regular-season finale.
