Ghana take on Gambia in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday. The two teams are in Group C of AFCON qualifying alongside Côte d’Ivoire and Somalia.

Johnny McKinstry’s side will have an uphill battle to qualify for the next AFCON, as only the top two teams will progress from Group C, and both Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana are giants of African football, but the Gambians have certainly kicked things off with a great result.
